Breaking News -- The Omnibus is Digital
The Region 1 Omnibus is digital; no more paper. Region 1 will provide a page on the website that has all the same features of the Omnibus such as show listings, access to dressage tests, Regional Championship rules, information about NAJYRC, Developing programs, Dover Medal etc as well as general competition information.
As a bonus for shows that list with the digital omnibus, a regional e-blast will be sent out monthly containing the shows in the next 30-60 days with links, open and close dates. This will provide a convenient reminder about show deadlines. Shows that are interested in being listed will pay a fee of $50 per show for the calendar listing with a link back to their website and in the e-blast. Show managers, if you haven't signed up yet, please do so now. Don't miss out on this opportunity. Banner and block ads will also be available for advertisers with an introductory offer of 10% off

All PM delegates and GMOs! March 8 is the deadline to register for the Spring Region One meeting March 17 at Hassler Dressage in Chesapeake City, MD. For lunch, a check or credit card order must be received by me by March 8. Some of the larger GMOs have not been in touch with me. Don't miss the opportunity to vote for the dates and venues for the 2014 GAIG and BLM championships. See all the details below

Any GMOs which can not send a representative, please send me a brief report about past and future events, shows or concerns and I can read it at the meeting.
The most important discussions will be to vote on the dates and venues for the 2014 GAIG and BLM championships.
Here is a summary of the bids:
1. October 2-5 GAIG or BLM Championship at the Bob Martin Eastern Ag Center in Williamston, NC submitted by NCDCTA (this was the GAIG host site for 2012)
2. October 10-12 GAIG or BLM Championship at the Horse Park of NJ in Allentown, NJ submitted by ESDCTA
3. October 16-19 GAIG or BLM Championship at the Virginia Horse Park in Lexington, VA submitted by VADA (this was the BLM host site for 2012 and will be the GAIG host site for 2013)
4. October 30-November 2 BLM Championship at the Bob Martin Eastern Ag Center in Williamston, NC submitted by NCDCTA (This will be the host site for the BLMs in 2013)
